The Great Britain & Ireland Walker Cup team flew into Belfast City airport in a private jet on their way to Royal County Down for the match against the United States of America on Saturday and Sunday, September 8-9.
The team had spent the weekend in a practice session at Kingbarns Links and flew out of RAF Leuchars, just across the Eden estuary from the 11th green on the Old Course .
Team captain Colin Dalgleish commented: "It was a very good session at the weekend. The team are in good form and we're pleased to have arrived in Ireland. With good weather and good crowds, we're looking forward to an exciting week."
