Ignacio Elvira of Spain has moved up a massive 192 places on The R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking with victory in the Barona Collegiate Cup at San Diego, California, to a top 200 spot at 197.  Two weeks ago he tied for 12th in the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Nevada.

Other big movers this week are Bronson Burgoon (USA), up 94 places to No 68 after leading the American challenge in the Barona Collegiate to finish fourth behind Elvira; Brad Smith (Australia), up 44 to No 70 with a fourth place tie in the Ron Moore Invitational in Arizona; and Emiliano Grillo (Argentina), up 112 places to No 92 after he shared fourth place in the Abierto Visa del Centro in Cordoba and earlier in the season won the Campeonata Nacional Por Golpes.

Michael O’Neal (USA) has also climbed into the top 100 with an eight place move to No 92 following a good early season run over the past four weeks.
