In Week 51, Jack Wilson took the Victorian Amateur Championship, defeating Ryan McCarthy 3&2 in the 36-hole final at Woodlands Golf Club. Full details of the final can be found here.


A new addition to the World Amateur Golf Ranking, Wilson finds himself in 3093rd place after defeating McCarthy, who finds consolation in an 14-place ascent to WAGRank 175.


Over in Brazil, Ivan Tsukazan won the Campeonato Juvenil Do Estado De Sao Paulo at Damha Golf Club in San Carlos. Tsukazan, up 517 places to 2236 after this latest triumph, returned a three-round total of 216 to claim a two-stroke victory from Luigi Predinola.


Elsewhere, Abel Tam won the Penang Amateur Open in Malaysia, India’s Karan Vasudeva claimed the Interstate Amateur in Calcutta, and Ugyen Dorji took the Bhutan Amateur Championship.


The USA’s Peter Uihlein remains the World Amateur Golf Ranking Number One.
